Hey, I’m David Winchell.
I serve people who are looking for a way to align their spending habits with their core life values. I show them how to turn their messy or somewhat organized financial life into a well thought out financial operating system that runs smoothly in the background.
I’ve got an associates degree in business from Purdue Calumet. I have been reading books about finance and investing since I was 19 years old. I am constantly studying and learning more about how I can serve people better. I am currently learning as much as humanly possible about student loans so I can help kids and parents choose the right college for their children. I am a registered financial advisor in the state of Indiana. I am studying for my AFC Certification so I will be able to deliver my clients more value.
And when I’m not serving clients and networking to find clients, I can be found running, golfing, and podcasting at www.investingorgambling.com. I have three children (Max 10, Jacob 9, Casemera 4) and a rockstar wife that I love with all my heart. Teri, my wife, is a personal trainer who works with only women. God and family are the two most important elements of my life. I love to travel, play basketball, golf, and hike. I love to wake up super early in the morning, drink some good coffee, and read finance books. (I know it’s strange. 🙂 I also love putting random smiley faces in when I’m writing.)
If you’re dying to know more, here are 7 things you don’t know about me…
I have been to Vegas between 10 and 20 times. Seriously, it has become a blur.
I love walking on sandy beaches, especially warm ones during the winter.
I can drink a cup of coffee and fall asleep in 10 minutes.
I enjoy driving for Uber, but it doesn’t pay enough to make it a career.
I love being around lots of people, because meeting new people excites me.
The walls of my office are covered with my kid’s artwork.
I have been to #Fincon every year since inception. 🙂
Work with me, right this second by calling me at 219-712-5853 or text me because nobody TALKS on the phone anymore…
